| The EZ Developmental Questionnaire Please consider the following four steps to help focus your thinking
but dont get too caught up in details or paint yourself into a corner asking yourself questions. Review the information, then give us a call if you have more questions and need help. EZ Graphics has found from past experiences that the first phone call, and initial consulting and sharing of ideas, helps our clients get back on the track and streamlines the development process for a successful project
and a happy customer! Things to consider before you call: - Do a little market-research first.
Review magazines, trade publications, newspapers or the web for insights on what other corporate logos are out there
and which one you favor. This information of what works for you and why do you like it will be useful in communicating to us some of your ideas, and help us pick a direction to start developing your project. - Corporate Images & Symbols
Think about your companys philosophy and your position in the marketplace. This will influence the style of your project (ie: conservative, contemporary, abstract, etc.). Also, you might consider if theres a special icon symbol, shape or image that youd like to simplify and illustrate as part of your corporate identity (ie: the Nike Swoosh). - Keeping it Simple
A good logo needs to work well regardless of its size or application, and should not be dependent on color or production values to work successfully. Fundamentally, a logo has to look and work great in simple black & white because that will be its application the majority of the time (ie.: phonebook ads, newspaper ads, quick copies, economy printing, etc.) We first approach your logo in one color then add needed color(s) to the final design. So while color is important
its not the basis for the design itself. - Starting from the beginning
Important: Before we start the creative process, make sure that you have finalized and registered the name of your business. It will also be very helpful to us in the concept-development of your corporate package if you could provide us with some background information on what your business does as in the way of providing a service or a product, and what you feel makes it unique or special in the marketplace. We will also need all the basic company information such as names, titles, phone numbers, cell numbers, e-mail, website and business address for doing the layouts for your cards, letterhead and envelope. | |
